Fear or faith, how does the Church respond to crisis?

For 37 years I have preached that we are in the end of days and that great calamity is coming on the Earth. For 37 years I have defied the spirit of the age and preached the opposite of what it stands for. I believe in the power of God and I believe that God is real among us when we worship. I believe that our worship and gathering should continue when it’s convenient or inconvenient, welcome or unwelcome, under threat of harm or not. I know many do not hold this position and that is between them and their Savior.

If our gatherings are not important, then why are believers all over the world meeting under threat of death or imprisonment from their Governments? I will submit to some controls, but not indefinite suspension of corporate worship of our God and our gathering together to praise Him. You have watched online before and Thank God for it, but it is not the same and we know that. We will continue our corporate worship at this time for all who, like myself, are compelled to gather in worship to our God.

This is a decision each must make and we will keep you posted if anything changes. Many leaders as myself have taken this stand and many have chosen to suspend gathering during this time.

This is the time to proclaim “By Jesus stripes we are healed!” I wake up declaring disease must die when it touches my body, and just as Paul shook off the serpent when it fastened to his hand, we stand and shake off any plague that attacks our body. Some will argue, “that’s not real or practical, we should use wisdom”. I believe it is wise to honor God with repentance and worship of Him! If I stop laying hands on the sick because I am afraid of getting their sickness, why am I calling myself a believer in God’s power to heal?

Mark 16 “They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover…”

I remember a couple years ago Pastor Brian Adams went to a leper colony and the local pastors of that country were afraid to go in with him. After he demonstrated faith instead of fear, a church was established there where fear had ruled!

Psalm 103:1-5
103:1 Praise for the LORD’s Mercies A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

I turned 61 today and I am declaring the healing power of God over my body when I feel like it and when I don’t. My youth is being renewed and I will finish my race with the strength of the Lord.

Isaiah 53:3-6
3 He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. [Matt 8:17.]
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord has made to light upon Him the guilt and iniquity of us all. [1 Peter 2:24,25.]

2 Timothy 4:1-5 TPT
Timothy, in the presence of our great God and our Lord Jesus Christ, the One who is destined to judge both the living and the dead by the revelation of his kingdom—I solemnly instruct you to proclaim the Word of God and stand upon it no matter what! Rise to the occasion and preach when it is convenient and when it is not. Preach in the full expression of the Holy Spirit —with wisdom and patience as you instruct and teach the people. For the time is coming when they will no longer listen and respond to the healing words of truth because they will become selfish and proud. They will seek out teachers with soothing words that line up with their desires, saying just what they want to hear. They will close their ears to the truth and believe nothing but fables and myths. So be alert to all these things and overcome every form of evil. Carry in your heart the passion of your calling as a church planter and evangelist, and fulfill your ministry calling.

Never has this portion of scripture been more relevant in my life than today! I want to be a lover of truth no matter what the spirit of this age is doing. The other day while watching the news, a commercial came on for a product. It showed four couples endorsing the product, three of the four couples were same sex! So, I don’t remember the product, but I do remember the message that three out of four couples are gay! Wrong answer!

Almost every new prime time program has either the leading role, or one of the leading roles as a homosexual. Hollywood continues to pump out it’s message to tell us darkness is light and light is darkness, and that alcohol is the comforter of almost every star’s character at the end of the day! Most churches are now preaching a soothing message to confirm, rather than convert the sinner. So what are we to do? “Proclaim the word of God and stand upon it no matter what.” As we ramp up to do our new drama “End of Days,” our writers have written a script that confronts and exposes the lies of the spirit of this age.

When the Gospel is presented by the power of the Holy Spirit, the response is repentance and salvation!

We have seen in the past, when the Gospel is presented by the power of the Holy Spirit bringing light into the darkness of the heart of man, the response is repentance and salvation! It’s time to get the word out and “compel them to come!” The Father’s house is not yet full and the harvest is imminent! It’s time to pray and witness! We have seen what the Holy Spirit can do when we work with Him.

Contrary to what Hollywood tells us, there are a lot of hurting people out there who are looking for the truth and are sick of the lies, just like you and I were. There is always a harvest when laborers are available. Jesus told us to pray for laborers, not the harvest, why? There is always a harvest, but we have a labor shortage.

It’s time to bring some un-churched friends to “dinner and a movie”. An invitation goes a long way and as Christian films have proven over the years, people still want clean entertainment filled with truth. Hope will be restored to a lot of people when they see the power of the Gospel again!

The Holy Spirit and the angels of God are already working behind the scenes, and we get to co-operate with them in this endeavor. We are friends of God and co-laborers with Christ!

Acts 26:14-18

14 And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’

15 So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.

17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,

18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ NKJV

We don’t need delivered from the Jewish people today, we need deliverance from the religious “Christians” who are still blind as a bat in the noon day sun! The believers who are voting to destroy the next generation on the “altars of convenience” at abortion clinics!

How blessed are you when you can see the difference between good and evil, light and darkness, right and wrong. This is the greatest miracle a human being can ever experience! Greater than the parting of the Red Sea, or any other recorded miracle in the Bible! All you need is the contrast of trying to convince an unsaved person that things the Bible says are evil are actually evil. I have looked many so called “believers” in the eye and asked, “How can you support a political candidate who is so evil in their hearts that they cannot see that abortion and same-sex marriage are wrong? Their answer is usually something like, “Well, Trump is a racist!” Really? That is your answer? And what legislature has Trump put in place which confirms that he is racist? Has he killed anyone who is “just not convenient because of their race?” That’s what abortionists do every day!

Planned Parenthood, which should be called “planned murderers,” facilitated over 350,000 abortions last year. We all will have a vote this year in the future of our Nation. I will vote for life and the sanctity of marriage every time over the rights of sodomites to get married, and women to kill the babies they don’t want. These are the issues, the bottom line.

With the brain washing peer pressure going on every day in our lives, we need to wash our brain in the word of God every day. Romans 8 is a great place to take a brain bath daily!

Romans 1: 18-32 TPT

God Reveals His Wrath

“For God in heaven unveils his holy anger breaking forth against every form of sin, both toward ungodliness that lives in hearts and evil actions. For the wickedness of humanity deliberately smothers the truth and keeps people from acknowledging the truth about God. In reality, the truth of God is known instinctively, for God has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart. Opposition to truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature have been made visible, such as his eternal power and transcendence. He has made his wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse.

Throughout human history the fingerprints of God were upon them, yet they refused to honor him as God or even be thankful for his kindness. Instead, they entertained corrupt and foolish thoughts about what God was like. This left them with nothing but misguided hearts, steeped in moral darkness. Although claiming to be super-intelligent, they were in fact shallow fools. For only a fool would trade the unfading splendor of the immortal God to worship the fading image of other humans, idols made to look like people, animals, birds, and even creeping reptiles!

This is why God lifted off his restraining hand and let them have full expression of their sinful and shameful desires. They were given over to moral depravity, dishonoring their bodies by sexual perversion among themselves— all because they traded the truth of God for a lie. They worshiped and served the things God made rather than the God who made all things—glory and praises to him for eternity of eternities! Amen!

26–27 For this reason God gave them over to their own disgraceful and vile passions. Enflamed with lust for one another, men and women ignored the natural order and exchanged normal sexual relations for homosexuality. Women engaged in lesbian conduct, and men committed shameful acts with men, receiving in themselves the due penalty for their deviation.

And because they thought it was worthless to embrace the true knowledge of God, God gave them over to a worthless mind-set, to break all rules of proper conduct. Their sinful lives became full of every kind of evil, wicked schemes, greed, and cruelty. Their hearts overflowed with jealous cravings, and with conflict and strife, which drove them into hateful arguments and murder. They are deceitful liars full of hostility. They are gossips who love to spread malicious slander. With inflated egos they hurl hateful insults at God, yet they are nothing more than arrogant boasters. They are rebels against their parents and totally immoral. They are senseless, faithless, ruthless, heartless, and completely merciless. Although they are fully aware of God’s laws and proper order, and knowing that those who do all of these things deserve to die, yet they still go headlong into darkness, encouraging others to do the same and applauding them when they do!”

According to this truth, if someone believes homosexuality is not wrong, they have been given over to their own devices by God Himself. Do you want a ruler that God has forsaken? I saw a 4D ultra-sound of my granddaughter the other day. Wow! She is my granddaughter now even before she is born! Look at here sucking her thumb! You want to vote for someone who can’t reason to kill her is wrong?

Oh Lord, I pray for a great awakening, first in the church and then in this nation. We cry out for this today! in Jesus’ Name! AMEN!
