Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. NKJV

This verse is so full of Promise! All of us are dependent on the Lord, for sure. Over the years, I have found myself having conversations with the Lord throughout the day, in the same way I would talk to someone who is with me in person. I don’t think about it- like OK, I need to pray now. I just consider the Holy Spirit with me, and just speak out to Him in conversation when I am alone.

After a challenging conversation or situation, I will just be speaking out loud to the Holy Spirit. It may go something like, “I don’t have a clue what to say or do in this situation, Holy Spirit, I need Your help right now. I need some wisdom, or restraint, or patience, or courage.”

Communication with the Lord should not be like calling someone, or texting, or emailing someone that is not in the room. It should be with the assumption He IS in the room! I have seen the “ridiculousness”, of two people texting each other when they are within speaking distance. For example, there is this new app called Marco Polo for communication. The other day, I was trying to explain to someone how it works and said, “It is facetime for a generation who wants to talk to you, when they want to talk to you, not when you want to talk to them.” LOL

Psalm 46:1-7

46:1 God the Refuge of His People and Conqueror of the Nations To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song for Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah 4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. 5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. 6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah NKJV

So let’s remember today whatever we are going through, He is with us! He hear us and He wants to talk to us anytime we want to talk to Him and more!

Be blessed!
