Immorality is the violation of moral laws, norms or standards. Immorality is normally applied to people or actions, or in a broader sense, it can be applied to groups or corporate bodies, beliefs, religions, and works of art. (Wikipedia)

Who determines what is moral and immoral? That is what is missing from this Wikipedia definition.

Judges 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes. NKJV

To be a Christian or (Christ-like one) is to accept the moral law of God as your standard. Culture has a tendency toward changing moral standards and becoming tolerate of immoral behavior to keep favor with the populace.

Our Supreme court system is not appointed to interpret the law of God but the laws of man. When people leave the standards of the Bible they deem what is right and wrong in their own eyes. The fears of the framers of our constitution is that they realized our republic could only stand when the morals of God were the morals of the majority of the people. We have in the last ten years become an immoral majority in the popular vote. The electoral vote is what saved President Trump in the last election.

The nature of self-preservation in mankind stops him from self-condemnation. In other words, man has a tendency to not pass a law he doesn’t believe he can keep. We will have a tendency toward removing moral standards that we feel we can’t keep. I have heard many preachers in my lifetime, come to a place of almost renouncing Biblical morals because of men’s constant moral failures. We don’t outlaw cars because someone wrecks and dies, or airplanes because one crashes and people die, do we? In many ways the current message of (Grace) being preached by some, is really just conceding to the populace. If men won’t serve Christ because they don’t want to stop sinning then let’s just change the moral values and call their idols “OK” with God.

Same sex marriage is the most heralded acceptance of evil by many Christians. However, it isn’t stopping there. Now, teaching children to choose their own gender is being accepted as moral, and soon pedophilia will be at the forefront. Moral degradation will always happen when man makes his own morals. I think I will stick to the Bible! I encourage you to read the book of Judges and see how far culture can go when everyone does what is right in their own eyes. Sixty-three people were shot in one American city, Chicago, last weekend. Coming to a city near you! One of our Police officers this past week said to Lieutenant Nangle in response to the waves of crime and drugs, “We have lost our city!”

Let us be different. Let us stand for biblical morals. Let us stand with God!
