God Still Speaks Through the Prophetic!

Prophetic word through Vicki Leuther 1.21.18 for Pastor Dave and the Rock:
I saw in my spirit, in this region, lightning shafts coming out of this house penetrating the atmosphere and causing light to come where darkness has been. That is the effect that this church will have. It will get thicker and thicker with the glory – you are going to affect a region. God has given you a region, He’s given it to you.

Your impact is changing. Your impact is changing. Pastor – it’s so deep in me – your impact is changing. It’s being re-charged – like you would come in and hook up batteries to recharge them. (like one car connected to another car to re-charge) I see that battery – and it’s not that he’s dead, but it’s being recharged for the impact. The impact is changing. It is being charged to impact a greater influence. I see you rising up in the middle of the shafts of lightning going out. I see you rising up – and it’s like you are this light that goes and just impacts and changes – changes the – it’s like when Joshua went in he changed the territories. They were evil, they were filled with death and darkness no hope but when Joshua and the children of I came in, they brought the presence of God right into the darkness. Your impact, God is charging you to be such an impact – I can see it so strong, it is powerful – it is not a little battery – it’s a CHARGED – it’s going to impact. WOW – I see that on you (Pastor Dave) so strong.

Something in the realm of the spirit here has been fought hard for. Prices have been paid for this. And it’s going to be well rewarded. Well rewarded. God knows those that have paid the price, those that have stood and fought a good fight in the hardest and toughest of times and that stood and believed – and you have seen some change, but oh, nothing compared to what is about to happen. It’s going to impact -as that charger charges him, so strong, it’s going to hit you – it’s going to impact and change you and change your finances. You are really being impacted – it’s just the time we are living in. It’s a great time

There was so much amazement in Joshua and all the people as they watched the walls come down. You know, when those walls just started falling down, don’t you know that they all stood and that they watched the awesomeness of God how He just came and He took every little piece of that wall and brought it down. I mean they had to stand there with a look on their face that said, WOW GOD! There was no denying that that was the power and the glory of God being manifested right before their eyes. And they looked and they watched and they began to shout – wouldn’t you shout? That’s what is going to happen in this place. Can you feel it? I can feel it. I know we don’t go by feelings, but I feel it. Whooo I feel that anointing on that. And I know when God is up to something. God is doing something.

(And I believe every time they took a step up those rocks to go in an conquer. They were seeing victory. They didn’t see defeat. You know those people on the other side that were about to die? That’s what is going to happen to some of your souls – they are gonna die. But when they went in there, they went in with a conquering spirit. They went in and they knew they weren’t going to be intimidated, they weren’t gonna be undaunted, they weren’t’ gonna be in that place. No, there wasn’t one of them, there wasn’t one of them, there wasn’t one of them that didn’t have that fire in their eyes. There wasn’t one of them that didn’t have that conquering spirit on the inside of them. There wasn’t one of them ready to draw back, they were all ready to go and take what God had for them.)

Are you all ready to go? And take? Because I am telling you, he is getting charged. And if you think he is a fireball now, you haven’t seen anything. And I believe this – and I may get in trouble with Miss Kyong, but I believe that “charge” (on him) is gonna – WHAP! Right onto you (Kyong) and there won’t be any trouble getting your on button on. That’s what’s going on – if you want to know what is going on?

THE MOVEMENT HAS BEGUN.

The word above was delivered to us on Sunday morning, January 21, 2018. What Vicki did not know was four days earlier, Nichole Stewart delivered the following word to us. During a time of recent prayer, the Lord began to speak to Nichole and told her to “write this down”. She wrote it down as He gave it and then shared it with Pastor Dave. He, in turn, had her share this word with us Wednesday night, 1.17.18. Here is a word in season for our church which ended up going right along with what Vicki Leuther delivered the following Sunday:

When the shaking began many of you thought it was an attack from the enemy but this was My doing. I had to shake off the shell, the molding, the scaffolding, for I have been designing something new. There were those who were necessary for the beginning stages,who were necessary for the design, but they were not chosen for the movement. For what I have been building is for movement, and these were not equipped for moving they were only equipped to shape and mold. The shaking was to allow the life of what I have purposed, to breathe in Me and exhale Me. For inside the mold, a change took place; a metamorphosis. In this metamorphosis, you are going from what was to what is now – and what is to come.

You’ve only just began to scratch the surface of what I have done and what I am doing. Don’t fear the new thing or the unknown. The unknown to you is known to Me for I am eternity; I am in the past, present, and future. Your future is unknown to you but I am there and the steps of the righteous are ordered. Trust Me. Although everything feels different, it is time to to step out and MOVE! I have chosen you for this new movement – it’s not supposed to feel familiar! You are to be apart of the pioneers that will go first. Yes, it may feel like you are walking on water just keep your eyes focused on ME.

There are those who still love the molding- they cling to the molding. They will either have to let go of the molding or they will be shook off! You have grown beyond the molding. You no longer fit in the molding. You went from one thing, to a new thing with new purpose! No longer limited to what was and who you were before. So I say LET GO of the old LET GO of what was LET GO of what was familiar!! FAITH walk in FAITH not by sight! I will not pour new wine in an old wine skin! You want more…. you cry out for more? Do you not realize the depths of Me? The fullness of who I am are like the many waves that crash upon the shore that bring forth something new with each crashing wave. Again, I say keep your focus on Me, lock eyes with Me, we have MORE to do.

The Power of Sound

There are many ways to hear or to listen….you can listen to someone while hearing background noise. You can actively listen, intently and focusing. You can halfheartedly listen while thinking about other things. How do we listen? We listen different ways to different sounds, usually by the importance it has in our lives. We listen to our boss, perhaps more than we listen to a co-worker. If a loud noise erupts, we listen, we have no choice.. Or, if you are like me, chirping birds or wind chimes can get your attention.

Listening often demands actions. For instance, if an ambulance blows a siren, we listen and obey by moving over to let them pass by. If you are in school and the bell rings, you listen and promptly get up to change classes. When your mother yells your name, you listen and heed her instructions. Listening…….

Then there are things we actively choose to listen to. Music in our earbuds, tv shows or movies on the screen, conversations and other sounds. Listening…..

One of my favorite scriptures about hearing (listening) is Romans 10:17 – Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. In other words, you don’t just listen once and you are done. You listen, and listen and listen – it implies an ongoing process. As we hear the word of God over and over, it will cause faith to grow, which is important because without faith it is impossible to please God!

We all know that our words create. Jesus framed the world with words, we are made in the likeness and image of God. Our words frame our world as well. Look around, what do you see? Your words have carried you to the place you are today. If you don’t like what you see, change what you speak. Proverbs 18:21 says the power of life and death are in the tongue. If you speak life you will reap life, if you speak death you will reap death. Our words are seeds. But, that’s another lesson!

Hearing. Listening. Speaking to hear….. Proverbs 4:21-22 says My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.
So, we see that speaking and hearing scriptures are life to us and healing to us as well! (remember Romans 10:17?)

In Mark 4, Jesus was teaching the parable of the sower. He says Listen! He says take heed what you hear! He says he that has ears to hear, let him hear, all within that one parable. Those words mean to physically listen and to also understand. So, not only are we to hear the word, we are to study the word, meditate on it and understand it! THEN it will be life to our flesh!

Listening……sounds…..sounds evoke emotions. How about the joy we feel when we hear a baby laugh, or the panic of a fire alarm? What about the fear of a loud sound in the night? Or the calming sound of birds on a summer’s day. Do you know that some scientists believe that sounds can heal? Sounds and listening. Hearing……..How are we listening to Him? How are we hearing what He says?

Many times we cannot control what we hear. When you are at work, you may hear unpleasant conversations, or when you are out in public as well. This alone is reason enough to make sure we are daily spending time with the Lord, in His word and presence. But, let’s look at a few things we can control in our hearing:

• Gossip. It happens to all of us. We end up in a conversation where someone is speaking a negative truth about a person who is not present. This does nothing to lift your spirit or bring life to you or anyone else. Lord, may we recognize clearly and remove ourselves from that conversation! Ephesians 4:29 – Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

• Unholy Communication on TV or in Music – (especially in music because adding music to words causes them to penetrate deeper into our soul!) We could use Ephesians 4:29 again because if we would not let unwholesome talk come out of our mouths, then why would we let strangers say it in our living room through the television or stereo? But let’s try Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.

• Self-talk – our self-talk is important because we believe ourselves more than anyone. The enemy will put thoughts in your head to see if you will bite and accept them as your own. This had me deceived for years! The scripture that says take every thought captive (2 Cor. 10:5) means just that. When you find yourself thinking a thought and pondering it and it does NOT line up with the Word of God, take it captive! I often just say out of my mouth – “I march this thought to the cross of Christ because ______________(whatever scripture refutes the thought) and then I speak a truth of what His word says instead. Another way is – and this really works – I say OUT LOUD – NOPE! Not today! Why out loud? Because Satan can’t read your thoughts, he plants thoughts in your mind and then waits for your reaction. He is hoping those negative thoughts will become negative words out of your mouth – why? Words/sounds create! So, by taking these thoughts captive, you are denying him a building permit in your life!

Be careful what you listen to. What do you WANT to hear? I want to hear Him. I want to know when He speaks. I want to Hear His voice. I am learning to hear Him more. He has always been speaking, but I haven’t always been hearing. I have spoken to Him for years, but never stopped to listen to what He wanted to say. The more time I spend with Him, in prayer, in the word, the easier it is to recognize His voice.

Be careful the sounds you make/the words you speak. What do you want to speak? Speak LIFE! Speak truth! Speak love! Speak kindness! Speak according to the Word of God. The Word of God is LIFE! We speak and the sound of our words create. This also implies that when we hear sounds/words, those words create in us an emotion or call to action. How we respond, what emotion we release, and how we react with the words we choose, will release building blocks from what we have heard. Listening, hearing is more than the physical act of hearing. Hearing goes into our very being and causes a reaction. It will determine thought processes, and steps. How we hear, what we hear is the vehicle of our life!

Be careful what you hear. Sound has the power to create.

PrayerFather, thank You for Your word and for understanding of Your word. Lord, first we repent for allowing negative sounds to create negative emotions and for acting and speaking to build on those negative situations. Holy Spirit, we ask You going forward to convict us quickly when we are about to create something in our lives that is not for our good or for the good of others. We pull up every negative seed we have sown with negative sounds that have come from our mouths. We pull down every stumbling block we have laid. We choose, this day to live free from the participation in gossip and unholy communication when it is in our power to do so. Convict us of our hearing! We want to hear YOU. We want to hear Your voice and create and frame our world with the words that bring life. Thank You Lord. In Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Pastor’s Blog 2.7.18

This week, we continue to look into the subject of
“Breaking the Generational Curse of Poverty”.

Yesterday, the Fox News website featured an article called the “Curse of the Lottery Winners”. It began by saying that a woman who had just won a huge lottery was refusing to claim it unless she could remain anonymous. She was afraid the “lottery curse” would come on her. Then the article went on to disclose the pain, misery and death, that many of the previous lottery winners have experienced. The author said of the thousands of lottery winners researched, only a few actually did not regret winning.

Solomon uses the term “vanity” about 40 times in the book of Ecclesiastes to describe the ability for the material to satisfy the spiritual hunger in mankind. Vanity basically means “the failure of something to satisfy.” But, Solomon also recognized the true blessing of the person who has discovered their portion and lives in the contentment of it.

Eccl 5:18-20 “Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. 19 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth , and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor — this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart.” NKJV

Pastor Brian Adams always says, “Wherever you go there you are”. The truth of that statement is that your character, not your location or your current abundance or lack, determines your satisfaction. When I finished High School I quickly recognized I was going nowhere. I had a very strong loyalty to my friends, and I remember thinking I would never change as long as I was with this group in this small town. I joined the Army thinking that the change of location would help me overcome the things that were hijacking my success. A few months later, I found myself with the same group of friends, just with different names.

Unwittingly, I had become a victim of pleasing people. I moved from place to place, state to state, and even lived in another country on the opposite side of the world for 15 months, but “everywhere I went, there I was.” Finally, I was delivered; not from my friends, or my state or my city, or even location; I was delivered from me! Through Christ I was born again! I was a new creation with a new character; no longer bound by the old self and the old failures.

Instead of the same old thing happening to me just in a different place, I started a new life that was totally different. I know a lot of people who believe in Jesus, but have not become a new creation in Him. A poverty spirit is truly broken in a new birth into royalty! I am no longer identified by what I have or who I am with, I am identified by who I am. I am a son of God and every curse that was against me has been destroyed by the power of the gift of righteousness that was given to me!

Most people who are generationally wealthy live in a mindset that sets them apart from the status quo. They consider themselves different than others. For example, people that live in the wealthier side of society will many times become members of a local Country Club. I have never been a member of such a club, but I have been invited many times to attend with members. I watch as there is an expectation with most members to be treated differently, with greater respect because of their money. For example, the servers don’t act like a server who works at a normal restaurant such as Outback or Ruby Tuesdays. They are trained to react, serve and respond differently, with more protocol, and to treat their customers with greater respect and favor because the members of the country club EXPECT it.

The point is, you present yourself out of a mindset of who you believe you are. Worldly wealth can produce a false identity that really can’t satisfy what we really long for, however, the new birth can! It has in me and I believe it is the ultimate cure or deliverance from the curse of poverty! My Pastor said something to me 30 years ago that I will never forget: “The poor have poor ways”. And that is true. Change the root and you change the fruit. Change the identity and you change behavior. The Lord has made us Kings and Priests to our God and we should be living in the character of that new identity!
