1 John 2 1:6 TPT
You are my dear children, and I write these things to you so that you won’t sin. But if anyone does sin, we continually have a forgiving Redeemer who is face-to-face with the Father: Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

The New Commandment

Here’s how we can be sure that we’ve truly come to know God: if we keep his commands. If someone claims, “I have come to know God by experience,” yet doesn’t keep God’s commands, he is a phony and the truth finds no place in him. But the love of God will be perfected within the one who obeys God’s Word. We can be sure that we’ve truly come to live in intimacy with God, not just by saying, “I am intimate with God,” but by walking in the footsteps of Jesus.

Today we are seeing the reality of deception on a culture like we have not seen in my lifetime. Darkness is manifesting not because it is more powerful than light but because the light has been turned off for the majority of people in our land. I would venture to say right now that 90% of children are being raised in America without a Biblical worldview being taught to them.

Now even fewer people are attending church where they should be learning the truths of the Kingdom of God and they sure are not watching online! It is really a testimony to the power of light to see any morality at all still existing in our land. With just a remnant of the nation still actually serving God there is still some light in the land.

This November, we are once again going to cast our vote towards light or darkness.There are three sins the Bible specifically declares will bring absolute judgment in the land, killing of the unborn or children, homosexuality, and bestiality. You will vote for two of the three this November! Although we know bestiality exist in our land it has not yet become a platform for a political party like the other two have. If you vote Democratic, you vote for God to judge our land as you have joined the deviates who have overturned God’s moral law in their wills.

Despite all his imperfections President Trump has supported the cause of Christ in our Nation more than any other President in my lifetime including Reagan and the Bushes! As a leader in the Church I will continue to warn and shine the light into the darkness of this political agenda for same-sex marriage and abortion. The leaders of the same-sex movement having openly disclosed there true agenda is to eliminate all gender predispositions and have become so perverted in their agenda that they want every boy and girl to choose their gender and then have the government with your tax dollars pay for the sex change drugs and operations!

As a believer you will give an account before God on which agenda you support by casting your vote!

Lord, I pray today that you awaken your body to the righteous cause of protecting the unborn and now newborn and the sanctity of marriage!

It is a sad day when the republican convention has more about following the law of God than most churches, and the republican leaders are bolder for God than the pulpits of the American church!

Vote righteousness!

John 8:42-47
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” NKJV

The normal conversations I am having with so many believers today usually ends up with a phrase something like this; “why can’t people see that this is wrong”? “How can people be so deceived”? Well, Jesus answered that for us, even though I hate hearing this truth about so many, as I am sure you do as well.

I was watching a clip of a message from Joel Osteen the other day and he said “I believe that 99.9% of people are really good people with good hearts who have just made some wrong choices in life”. Thousands of his followers nodded in agreement instead of refuting the lie he just propagated which continues to keep people in darkness.

What does the light of the world, Jesus, the way the truth and the life say about the majority of humanity? He says “they do not hear, because they are not of God”. He doesn’t ever, in any way, shape, or form, even come close to saying 99.9% of people are good with good hearts. That is living at such a state of spiritual denial it isn’t even close to the truth!

Talk about falsely securing someone in their self-righteousness!

What does the word say?

Gal 3:24
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. KJV

And what exactly does the law do? It condemns us all as depraved sinners! It teaches us that we cannot save ourselves by our own goodness and that we will likewise perish under its condemnation, if we do not embrace the grace of God through a new birth in Jesus Christ!

Jer 17:9
9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? NKJV

Rom 3:9-20
9 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. 10 As it is written: “There is none righteous , no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. 12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.” 13 “Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit”; “The poison of asps is under their lips”; 14 “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.” 15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood; 16 Destruction and misery are in their ways; 17 And the way of peace they have not known.” 18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” 19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. NKJV

A biblical worldview does not ever see 99.9% of people as good with good hearts. It sees 100% of people wicked, lost, and forever doomed without Christ! When I hear about believers voting democrat, knowing full well its main platform is immoral, including the abominations of, abortion, same sex marriage, and now Marxism, and then justifying it by saying well republicans are racists, I am stunned! It is not about the color of skin but it is about the practice of sin!

I challenge you to ask people who you know are not sold out blood bought followers of Christ this question. “If you died right now why should God admit you to heaven? Most will respond, I believe I am a good person, or something along that line. That is the epitomy of self-righteousness. There is no other answer than the blood of Jesus and then there is the qualifier of works that are the fruit of true faith.

All through this time of epidemic I have heard over and over in my heart:

Jer 12:5 “If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, in which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan? NKJV

Faith is being tested right now in the land of covid, but the anti-christ is coming and woe to the ones who must face him! Normal, healthy, young believers have given up their service in corporate worship, with little to no risk to their physical lives. I fully relate and understand those who have a real legitimate threat being extra cautious, but it seems many have just taken this opportunity to forsake the body of Christ, to become self-centered, self-serving lovers of the world.

We have watched two more international stars put on church discipline these last two weeks. Jerry Falwell Jr., and Perry Stone. If they could get far enough away from Jesus while in full time service; to become enticed by the lust of the flesh, so can any of us! Stay in prayer, the word and FELLOWSHIP! Fellowship keeps us accountable to one another and helps reveal our self-deceptions!

Psalm 137:1-7 TPT
THE SONG OF OUR CAPTIVITY
Along the banks of Babylon’s rivers
we sat as exiles, mourning our captivity,
and wept with great love for Zion.
Our music and mirth were no longer heard, only sadness.
We hung up our harps on the willow trees.
Our captors tormented us, saying, “Make music for us and
sing one of your happy Zion-songs!”
But how could we sing the song of the Lord
in this foreign wilderness?
May my hands never make music again
if I ever forget you, O Jerusalem.
May I never be able to sing again if I fail to honor Jerusalem supremely!
And Lord, may you never forget…

I have been thinking of this Psalm this week as I daily experience living in a post Christian culture. Don’t get me wrong, I am not hanging my harp on a willow, but I like many of you, long for a righteous agenda to prevail again in our beloved nation. While many are chanting hatred for this nation and our liberties, I think of the times I have spent overseas in third world countries. I would venture to guess 80% of the world’s population would leave their home right now for the opportunity to live here.

I remember the young people clinging to our mission team begging us to take them back to America with us. One young man, in South Africa, offered my wife seven cows if he could marry one of our daughters so that we would bring him to America. I remember one young man who was a pilot in the Island of St Lucia…when he found out our church had a small plane he told me, “please take me to America and I’ll be your pilot for free!”

Romans 1:20-22
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful , but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,… NKJV

Covid 19 has caused 1 in 3 church members to no longer attend or participate in their church either in person or online according to the Barna statistics released today. Online attendance diminished 45% during the lockdown of the average church. Thank God we are not average! Churches are being targeted by the government and media as the main culprits in the spread of Covid 19. They never a mention the box stores, or protests.

For the last 50 years the true prophets have warned of the destruction of our beautiful nation, and now we are seeing such division, hate and such exaltation of immorality it is possible we won’t recover! But, good news! Our Kingdom is not of this world and Jesus is not moved and we will not be moved either! We want peace on earth, but realize the Lord brought a sword. We want the blessing of being a majority, but remember only the remnant shall be saved!

So we pick up our sword of the Spirit and we fight daily for our salvation and our righteousness which is only in Christ, and our peace and joy which are only found in Him!

Remember the words He left us with:

John 16:33
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation ; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” NKJV

He overcame the world, and He lives in us. As long as we remain in Him and obedient to His word, we will overcome too, and with great peace! Wht a mighty God we serve!
